Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of CertaLink, a CRM extension for Gmail operated by Kurt Jones ("we", "us"). By installing or using CertaLink, you agree to them.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it. You must give accurate information and keep your Google account secure.
Your data
You own the contacts, leads, notes and other records you put into CertaLink. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to store the contact details you add, including under privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you.
Acceptable use
Don't use CertaLink to break the law, send spam, interfere with the service or other users, or try to access data that isn't yours.
Subscriptions and billing
- New accounts get a free 30-day trial with full access. No card is needed. When the trial ends, your account becomes read-only until you subscribe: you can still see all your data, but can't add or change it.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, in US dollars, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings → Account & Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from your next billing period.
- Payments are not refundable except where required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
The service
We work to keep CertaLink available and reliable, but it is provided "as is". We may change or improve features over time. CertaLink depends on Gmail and Google Chrome, and changes Google makes may affect how it works.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using CertaLink and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we discontinue CertaLink, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use CertaLink after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
